I'm a single momma to my tiny girl gang and I've been capturing memories for as long as I can remember. When I was a little girl, my Dad gave me my first film camera and then I'm sure promptly regretted it because I spent so much money on film! haha! (Anyone else remember the days of the 1 hour photo lab?!)
I had my first paying client almost 18 years ago (!!!) when a friend asked me to photograph her wedding. I took the plunge and bought my first DSLR and haven't looked back since! I started studio work in my basement studio for fun when my oldest daughter was born 7 years ago, and it has since turned into a full service studio in downtown New Albany hosting highly sought after Mini Sessions for nearly every holiday & more!
Photography is my only job (besides being a momma!) which allows me to provide an exceptional client experience. I still pinch myself that this is what I get to do every day and I am so grateful to God for allowing me to be a small part in capturing your stories.

Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
Photographs from early in my life are now are among my most precious possessions, especially after my Dad passed away suddenly & unexpectedly 5 days after Christmas when I was 14 years old. Photos are now all I have left of him. They take me back to that time with him. They tell me that we loved each other. That we danced and sang and laughed and cried and fought and loved AND LIVED.
But even more so than the photographs, the very few videos and audio recordings I have mean the absolute world to me. To be able to see us together, watch him move, remember his mannerisms, and hear his voice now, over 20 years since he's been gone, is literally invaluable. Priceless.
THIS is why I do what I do. Today isn't forever and tomorrow isn't guaranteed. Being able to preserve memories is not just about taking a pretty picture to hang on the wall or even a beautifully curated film to watch once in awhile, it's about creating legacy heirlooms that your family will cherish for generations to come.
After my divorce at the end of 2021, I knew I eventually wanted to re-name my business to something other than my married last name. It's still my last name, and the last name of my two favorite people on this planet (my daughters!), and my ex-husband and I are still friends, but after a lot of time spent healing it just didn't feel like me anymore.
So The Tiny Goose Film Co. was born! So where does it come from?
Tiny and Goose are my daughters' nicknames. My oldest, Lucy, has been "Goose" since she was a baby; and someone called Anna "Tiny" the day she was born, and somehow it has stuck over 5 years later!
So as our lives have changed and grown over the past couple years, so has my business and it just seemed fitting to give it a re-brand as well.

Your kids, on your walls. Captured because they only stay little... for a little while.
You have hopes of getting some gorgeous family photos and probably have ideas on how to decorate the walls of your home by displaying your new portraits. But turning those two things into reality just seems stressful, like a huge chore, and maybe you don't even know where to start. You'd love for someone to step in, plan it all from start to finish, wave a magic wand, and BOOM, the details are covered and all you gotta do is just show up... and bonus if it's actually FUN!
